Call for Vestry & Warden Nominations
(Please read the instructions carefully before submitting a nomination)
Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church invites all eligible members to prayerfully consider nominating themselves or another member for service on the Vestry or as Warden.
Vestry Open Positions:One (1) Vestry seat for a 1-year term (through 2026)Two (2) Vestry seats for 3-year terms (through 2028)
Vestry seating will be filled by ascending order according to votes per candidate.
Warden Open Positions:One (1) Warden seat for a 2-year term
Nominee Requirements Nominees must:Be at least 18 years oldBe an active member of Saint Mary’s Episcopal ChurchBe a pledging member for at least the past yearBe received or confirmed in the Episcopal Church
Submission Materials All nominees are required to provide:A photographA short paragraph statement explaining why they wish to serve
How to Nominate:Complete the Google nomination form by on the button on the top of this page, orCall the church office to submit a nomination
Nominating Committee:The Nominating Committee is chaired by Janet Hanks and Sue Rumph. All nominations are subject to approval by the Nominating Committee.
Important Dates:Nomination deadline: January 15Vestry election: January 25 after the annual meeting.
**Voting members who are unable to attend in person will be able to participate virtually.We encourage all members to consider this important ministry and to help identify faithful leaders to serve our parish community. **
